Product : Kites
Bareilly is particularly known for its small kites or Majholi Patang, which are often lightweight and agile, perfect for flying in narrow spaces or for competitive kite-flying battles. These small kites are typically made from lightweight paper and bamboo sticks, making them easy to handle. They're especially popular during festivals like Makar Sankranti, Uttarayan, Lohri, Pongal Festival, Basant Panchami, 15th August, Raksha Bandhan, and Diwali Jamghat.
One unique aspect of Bareilly's small kites is the way they're designed to be very maneuverable, allowing fliers to engage in "kite battles" by trying to cut the strings of rival kites. The small size makes them nimble and able to perform tricks in the air.
